Re-Opening a Harley Street Clinic for Women

At the beginning of my therapist career, I was the resident EFT Practitioner at the wonderful Grayshott Spa. Sadly this closed in lockdown.

I was incredibly fortunate to give a talk every month there for six years. When I moved to Chichester, it was a little too far so my friend and EFT colleague Gill Crane took over from me.

The talks and demos I gave at Grayshott led to guests booking 1:1 sessions which, in turn, led to my Harley Street clinic.

I loved that room — high up on the 4th floor of a beautiful gothic building. It was peaceful and cosy. Perfect for the in-depth processing of EFT.

As we all know, lockdown changed many things. Before lockdown, the majority of my client sessions were face to face — either in Chichester (my most recent room, which I took on in September 2019) or in my Harley Street clinic.

I had been holding webinars and online sessions since I started my business, so it was a relatively easy switch. Although none of us anticipated quite how rapidly we would all need to learn our Zoom skills.

I made the sad decision to close my clinic in 2020 and have been working mostly online ever since.

Why Harley Street is the right home for therapy — and this work

Harley Street has been synonymous with healing and excellence since 1715, when physicians first enjoyed the ability to live and work in the same building.

Interestingly, Florence Nightingale set up the Institute for the Care of Sick Gentlewomen in Harley Street in 1853.

Then in 1912, the Royal Society of Medicine took up residence in nearby Wimpole Street, cementing the area as one of the world's most respected medical and therapeutic hubs.

Over recent months, a return to London had been quietly calling. I looked at four or five clinics and buildings — none of them quite right.

And then a friend mentioned that he knew someone with availability in a beautiful new space — The Anthony Group Practice, 15 Harley Street. I went to meet him there and as soon as I walked through the door, I felt like I had come home. That same feeling I had the first time I walked into Grayshott Spa — as if I had been there before. As if I was being welcomed back.

The space is beautiful, quiet and held. It’s exactly the right place for deep transformation.

Online or in-person therapy — which is more effective?

I’m often asked whether in-person therapy is more effective than working online. The honest answer is that it comes down to you.

I have many international clients who have experienced life-changing transformation and we’ve never met in person. The work is just as powerful.

That said, there’s something deeply valuable about being in the room together. Research tells us that only 7% of communication is verbal — the rest comes through intuition, subtle shifts in body language, tone of voice, breathing rate and what I can only describe as a heart-to-heart connection. There’s an electromagnetic pulse from the heart that’s measurable up to ten feet from the body. In-person, we’re working with all of that.

The environment matters too. A calm, private, beautifully held space allows a client to relax more deeply, feel safer and go further — particularly when using hypnotherapy.

Of course, some clients love working from home — already in their comfortable clothes, able to simply close their laptop and rest afterwards. That’s equally valid.

The work I do with my clients is deep, effective, powerful and lasting. However we meet, each client changes their life experience. They feel and see the difference. They always leave a session feeling better than when they arrived.

Therapies available at my Harley Street clinic, in Chichester and online

I predominantly work with women. Although I do work with men too, around 90% of my clients are women who feel unfulfilled in some way. They’re successful at work, at raising their children, supporting their friends and managing their time. They're spinning the plates, keeping it all together on the outside and yet something is missing. A relationship. An ambition. Something they can't quite  put their finger on…

On paper, their lives are perfect. So why are they so unhappy?

When you have unresolved memories — difficult moments from the past, whether big T or little t traumas — a part of you remains frozen in time. The unconscious mind holds the memory in place, effectively trapping that version of you within it. It is as if it never happened and always happened, all at once.

And the memory will generally remain that way until it’s unlocked.

That’s the work I do.

Together, we find the memories and gently unlock the trauma — processing it calmly and easily, releasing that frozen, pained part of you back into the present. That part could be from a moment last month, or from a six-month-old you who was left too long or misunderstood.

A version of you who was in a car accident.

Who got lost in a supermarket.

Who felt abandoned on her first day of school.

Whose tears were met with a rolling of eyes and a sigh.

The techniques I use — EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and Hypnotherapy — are all focused on the same outcome. This is finding, healing and resolving those past moments, calmly and effectively, with minimum disruption to the present-day version of you.

How does working with a Harley Street therapist actually work?

I work in a few different ways, depending on what you need.

A single session is ideal for a specific issue — clearing a known memory, preparing for an interview or exam, or simply experiencing EFT for the first time.

My Mini Breakthrough Package is six sessions, designed to go deeper on a particular aspect of your life or a specific challenge.

And my signature programme, Your Life Unleashed, is my deepest and most transformational offer. You’ll benefit from two sessions per month – online or in person – alongside my book, tailored hypnotherapy recordings, my audio programme and ongoing support between sessions and beyond.

When you know you want more from your life — when you’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, perhaps even tried therapy before and felt it didn't quite reach the root — then it’s time to go deeper. That’s exactly what we do together.

How do you know if this is right for you?

Your unconscious mind will tell you — you can feel it in your gut. You know there’s more available to you. You know you deserve more. You know you have so much love to give, so much life to live and something is in your way.

If you feel guilty, doubtful, frustrated or quietly unfulfilled — if you question yourself and default to what other people want or expect from you — those are the signs. You don’t need to analyse them further.

You’re here to live an incredible life...

To inspire yourself and the people you love.

To lead with clarity and strength.

To feel joyful and confident, not just occasionally, but as your natural state.

If that feels a long way from where you are right now — that’s exactly why I’m here.

Book your clarity call today and let's begin.
